Peter Schiff, economic adviser to the Ron Paul for presidential campaign, was on Fox Business News on June 26th, the day the Dow dropped 358. Stuart Varney did him and all viewers a terrible disservice, repeatedly demanding that Peter Schiff make predictions about inherently unknowable things. How low will the Dow going to go?

More Idle Thoughts About Nothing in Particular (i.e. Twitter)

Here's another thought along the lines of the CMC same/different time/place grid as applied to Twitter I mentioned in Twitter and "Desynchronous" Communication... Twitter seems to be all over the place if you plotted a scatter chart opf different interaction modes on these axes: 1 sender and 0 receivers (or maybe 0 readers) - late night tweet to no-one and it gets lost... 1 sender to 1 or 2 explicitly identified receivers - I just tweeted @one or @two people. Rupert Murdoch's News Corp said on Friday it proposed to take set-top box maker NDS Group Plc private for $60 per share in a transaction financed by private equity firm Permira.
